The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level exam conducted once a year for the recruitment of primary (classes I-V) and upper primary (classes VI-VIII) level teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. It is a test of knowledge, skills, aptitude, and intelligence. The candidates must be able to answer questions in English, Hindi, and other languages. The test consists of a written examination and an objective assessment.
The UPTET exam is conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test. So the candidates can study using the materials provided and the exam can be taken at their own pace. The candidates must be able to answer all the questions correctly in order to get a score. The questions are divided into two categories: multiple choice questions and fill-in-the-blanks questions.
